Job openings

Why it matters

Job changes aren’t the only employment-related signal to keep top of mind.

When a company is hiring, it’s a sign that they’re trying to solve a problem or investing in a new initiative. Maybe your product can help.

What to do

Tailor your outreach based on the job listing in question. Job posts are goldmines of information about existing tech stacks, desired skills, strategic priorities, market challenges, and more.

Reach out to the people who are likely to manage the new hire to show how you can help them hit the ground running.

Questions to inform outreach
  • What department will the new hire be part of?
  • Who do people in that department report to?
  • How is the organization’s tech stack configured?
  • Has the organization shared any information about challenges or goals?
  • Does anyone at your organization have a relationship with anyone at this organization?
  • What information can you share to show the value of your product?
