What is an Account Profile?
An Account Profile provides a unified view of everything Common Room knows about an account.
This includes:
- Salesforce data
- Associated Contacts
- Signal activity (product, community, web)
- AI-assisted research
- Job listings and news
- Scoring and firmographic data

Use Account Profiles when you want to:
- Prepare for account outreach or meetings

Quick Start
- Open an Account from the Accounts page
- Review key fields and signals at the top
- Explore tabs (Contacts, Activity, Web Visits, etc.)

Account Profile Overview
Each Account Profile is structured to give you both:
- At-a-glance insights (top of page)
- Detailed exploration (tabs and sections)
You can customize which key fields appear at the top of the profile in your Common Room Settings.
Top Section (At-a-Glance Insights)
About Section
Displays:
- Account description
- Tags applied to the account
- Firmographic details from Salesforce (industry, employee count, account type)
AI Research (RoomieAI)
Use RoomieAI to research an Account directly within the profile.
You can:
- Run pre-built research prompts
- Ask custom questions
- Combine internet data with AI-generated insights
Once generated:
- Save results as team notes attached to the Account

Key Fields
Key fields highlight the most important Salesforce and custom data at a glance.
Examples:
- Opportunity Stage
- ARR
- Account Owner
- Contract Renewal Date
Customization:
- Configured by Admins in Common Room Settings
- Applies across all Account Profiles
Contact Lists
Contact list widgets surface important stakeholders associated with the Account.
Examples:
- Economic buyers → Contacts who meet criteria for decision-makers
- Economic buyers not in Common Room → AI-identified potential stakeholders not yet tracked

Account Profile Tabs
Each tab provides a deeper view of the Account. Tabs can be filtered independently.
Contacts Tab
Displays all Contacts associated with the Account.
Contacts include employment status labels:

- Active stakeholders
- Missing CRM coverage
Exporting Contacts:
- Click Export (top-right of the tab)
Activity Tab
Shows all signal activity from Contacts associated with the Account.
You can filter by:
- Signal type
- Date range
- Specific Contacts
👉 Use this to assess account engagement and intent
Web Visits Tab
Displays website activity from associated Contacts.
You can see:
- Pages visited
- Visit timing
- Patterns (e.g., pricing page views)

Prospector Tab
Find and import new Contacts directly from the Account Profile.
To use Prospector:
- Open the Prospector tab
- Review suggested contacts
- Select contacts and click Import
Imported contacts:
- Appear in the Contacts tab
- Sync to Salesforce (if write-back is enabled)
Job Listings Tab
Shows active job postings for the Account.
Use this to identify:
- Growth areas
- New initiatives
- Potential buying signals
You can filter by:
- Job function
- Seniority
- Date posted
News Tab
Surfaces recent news and press mentions.
Examples:
- Funding rounds
- Product launches
- Leadership changes

Account Details Tab
Displays:
- All additional fields from connected data sources
- Related accounts (e.g., parent/subsidiary relationships from Salesforce)
Common Issues
Contact missing from Contacts tab
- Ensure email domain matches Account domain
- Confirm Contact exists in Salesforce
- Verify employment data is up to date
Web Visits not appearing
- Confirm Website Tracking is configured
- Verify Contacts are identified correctly
Prospector import not syncing to Salesforce
- Check if Salesforce write-back is enabled
- Confirm permissions and integration settings

What is the difference between an Account and an Organization?
An Account is a Salesforce record representing a commercial relationship.
An Organization is Common Room’s unified view of a company across all signal sources.
Both can represent the same company and are linked where possible.

A Contact works at an Account but isn’t showing—why?
Common Room associates Contacts using:
- Employment data
- Email domain matching

- Find new Contacts
