Zoom Dialer Integration Guide

Last updated Oct 21st, 2026

Overview

Zoom Dialer is the calling tool in Zoom Revenue Accelerator. By integrating Zoom Dialer with Common Room, you can add Common Room Contacts to Zoom Dialer call lists, so your reps can start calling the people showing the strongest signals without exporting a CSV.

With the Zoom Dialer integration, you can:

  • Select one or more Contacts in Common Room and add them to a Zoom Dialer call list.
  • Create a new call list directly from Common Room.
  • Work the list in Zoom Dialer, where your Contacts appear ready to call.

Availability

The Zoom Dialer integration is included on all plans.

Requirements

To use the Zoom Dialer integration, you'll need:

  • A Zoom admin to authorize the integration. The person who connects Zoom Dialer must be an admin on your Zoom account, since Zoom asks them to approve the requested permissions.
  • A Zoom Dialer license. If you don't see Dialer in the left navigation of Zoom Revenue Accelerator, your Zoom account isn't licensed for it.
  • Zoom Phone. Reps need Zoom Phone and an assigned phone number to place calls from Zoom Dialer.
  • Access to Signals and integrations in Common Room. You'll connect the integration from Common Room Settings.
  • Phone numbers on your Contacts. Only Contacts with a phone number in Common Room can be added to a call list.

Setup

You connect Zoom Dialer once per Common Room workspace. A Zoom admin needs to complete the authorization in Zoom.

  1. Open Settings in Common Room and select Signals and integrations.
  2. Search for Dialer, then click Connect on the Zoom Dialer card.
  3. Click Connect Zoom Dialer. A Zoom sign-in window opens.
  4. Sign in to the Zoom account that has Zoom Dialer licenses.
  5. Review and approve the requested permissions. All permissions must be approved for the connection to complete.

The Zoom window closes on its own and Common Room confirms that Zoom Dialer is set up. The integration now appears under the Connected tab, and the ability to add Contacts to Zoom Dialer call lists is available in Common Room.

Technical details

Data sent to Zoom Dialer

When you add a Contact to a call list, Common Room sends the Contact's name, phone number, account name, and email to Zoom Dialer.

Call list sync

Common Room refreshes the available call lists every hour. The Last updated time at the bottom of the call list picker shows when lists were last synced. After you first connect, the initial import can take up to an hour.

Add Contacts to a Zoom Dialer call list

You can add one or more Common Room Contacts to a Zoom Dialer call list directly from Contacts.

  1. Open Contacts and filter or segment the view to the people you want to call.
  2. Select the Contact(s) you want to add, then click Zoom in the table header and choose Add to call list (Zoom Dialer).
  3. Confirm the number of Contacts shown is correct.
  4. Select a call list. You can search for a call list by name.
  5. Confirm to add the Contacts. They're sent to the selected call list in Zoom Dialer.

Create a new call list from Common Room

If the call list you need doesn't exist yet, you can create it from the same dialog. Lists created this way are the ones Common Room can add Contacts to going forward.

  1. Select your Contacts and choose Zoom > Add to call list (Zoom Dialer).
  2. Click Select a call list and type the name you want for the new list.
  3. When no existing list matches, click Create "<your list name>".
  4. Confirm to add the Contacts. Common Room creates the list in Zoom Dialer and adds the selected Contacts to it.

Call your Contacts in Zoom Dialer

Contacts you add from Common Room appear in Zoom Dialer as Upcoming on the call list you chose.

  1. Sign in to Zoom and open Revenue Accelerator.
  2. Click Dialer in the left navigation.
  3. On the Call list tab, set the source to SFDC/CSV/API, then select your list from the menu next to it.
  4. Review the Contacts under Upcoming, then click Start to begin calling.

Each row shows the Contact's name, phone number, account name, and email from Common Room. As reps work the list, Contacts move to Called, Skipped, or Snoozed.

Disconnect Zoom Dialer

A Zoom admin can remove the integration from the Zoom App Marketplace.

  1. Sign in to the Zoom App Marketplace as an admin.
  2. Click Manage in the top-right corner.
  3. Under Admin App Management, click Apps on Account.
  4. On the Added Apps tab, find and click Zoom Dialer.
  5. Click the Manage app tab.
  6. In the Remove App section, click Remove, then confirm.

FAQ

Why isn't my call list showing up in Common Room?

Check the following:

  • Was the list created from Common Room? Lists created in Zoom Dialer, or uploaded from Salesforce or CSV, won't appear.
  • Did you just connect? The initial import can take up to an hour.
  • Was the list created recently? Call lists refresh every hour. Check Last updated at the bottom of the picker.

Can I add Contacts to a list I already built in Zoom Dialer?

No. Zoom Dialer only lets the app that created a list add to it. Create a new list from Common Room instead, and use that list going forward.

Can I add the same Contact to more than one call list?

Yes. Run Add to call list (Zoom Dialer) again and choose a different list.

I see an error saying permissions weren't granted.

The Zoom authorization was approved without every requested permission, so the integration wasn't connected. Start the connection again and approve all permissions, or ask your Zoom admin to do it.

I see an access error when connecting.

The Zoom account you signed in with doesn't have Zoom Dialer. Sign in with an account that has Zoom Dialer licenses, or contact your Zoom admin.

I closed the Zoom window or declined by mistake.

The integration stays disconnected. Click Connect Zoom Dialer again on the same page; there's no need to reload.

I see a message that the authorization link expired.

This can happen if a Zoom sign-in page is reused, for example after pressing your browser's back button. Close the window and start the connection again from Signals and integrations.
