Zoom Engage Integration Guide
Last updated Oct 15th, 2026
Overview
Zoom Engage is Zoom's sales engagement solution. By integrating Zoom Engage with Common Room, you can add Common Room Contacts to Zoom Engage sequences, one at a time or in bulk, directly from Contacts and Segments.
Requirements
To use the Zoom Engage integration, you'll need:
- A Zoom Engage license. Zoom Engage is licensed separately, and the license must be in place before the integration can be authorized.
- Admin permissions in Common Room.
- A CRM connection. Zoom Engage matches people by CRM ID, so a CRM connection is required to have Common Room add Contacts to Zoom Engage sequences. This works automatically with Salesforce.
- At least one active sequence in Zoom Engage. Only existing sequences appear in Common Room.
Technical Details
Contacts and CRM records
Zoom Engage enrolls people using their CRM ID. When you add a Contact to a Zoom Engage sequence from Common Room, we'll first create a Salesforce lead or contact if one doesn't already exist, then enroll that record in the sequence.
Adding a Contact to a sequence isn't logged as activity on the Common Room Contact.
Add one or more contacts to a Zoom Engage sequence
You can add one or more Common Room Contacts to a Zoom Engage sequence directly from Contacts and Segments.
Open a Contact list in either Contacts or Segments:
- Select the Contact(s) you want to add, then click “Zoom Engage” in the table header and choose “Add to sequence.” To add a single Contact, use the “Add” dropdown on that Contact's row instead.
- Select the user you want to enroll the Contacts under.
- Select the Zoom Engage sequence to add the Contacts to. Both personal and company sequences are available.
- Click “Add to Sequence.” A confirmation shows how many Contacts were added. Click “Done” to return to your list.
FAQ
Are there any limits to how many Common Room Contacts can be added to a Zoom Engage sequence?
No, there is currently no limit.
Does selecting all Contacts include Contacts on other pages of the list?
Yes. Selecting all selects every Contact in the list, not just the current page.
Can I remove a Contact from a Zoom Engage sequence in Common Room?
No. To remove a Contact from a sequence, do it in Zoom Engage.
